Welcome to the website for The Electronics & Materials Technology Company Ltd, directed by William and Heather Bassett. William Bassett is an experienced teacher with a registered office and workshop where his students from all over Auckland make a wide range of electronic and wooden gadgets, including furniture.

The weekly classes run from 10am to 12 noon, 1 to 3pm, and 4 to 6pm Monday to Friday. The maximum number of pupils in any one class is five.
A short break of five minutes is taken after the first hour of each new class for refreshments, and to allow students to socialise.

These classes are usually fully booked in advance due to word-of-mouth advertising, so there is a waiting list - you can plan ahead for next term or next year, and you may even find the occasional currently available space in a class or two. The charge for each two-hour lesson is only $30 for new students, with reduced fees for each subsequent student from the same family (see the pricing page for more details). There is a minimal cost of materials for each project (this varies from $5 to $10, or more for furniture). Projects can take a few weeks to complete.
