William A. Bassett is a New Zealand trained and registered teacher of technology, specialising in:

- Structures & Mechanisms
Students who complete two terms of structured lessons in any one year receive a completed 3 page "report card" detailing their achievements. The achievements are related to the New Zealand Ministry Of Education technology curriculum guidelines for each year (from year 7 up to year 10, or ages 11 to 17).
Students also receive photographs of themselves holding up each finished project for display.
